I was anxiously waiting for 6:00pm to come around so I could clock out of work and let the weekend begin. The short drive to Ringing Rocks Family Campground was scenic but slightly frustrating since T-Mobile has such weak service. I was skeptical about this campground since I had never heard of it before but checking in alone showed me I had nothing to worry about. The office had a beautiful store stocking everything you could...

The countdown to the Taste Of Country was finally down to only 10 hours away when Irina & I decided to go to bed before taking the 2 hour drive up to Hunter, New York to check into The Mountain View Log Cabin from After a short but restful nights sleep, we packed up the Outlander with our bags and Tango (my chinchilla), put on my Taste of Country Spotify playlist and jammed out all the way there.

Arriving just be...

4:00 am and my phone alarm goes off. It’s pitch black and cold outside in New Jersey as Andrew and I Uber to JFK Airport with heavy eyes. The airport is empty and we have about 2 hours until our flight boards, you can say we overestimated a bit. We eventually board onto Delta Flight 482 for a smooth and pleasant 3 hour and 45 minute flight to the Dominican Republic. Getting off the plane, it was was 80 degrees, sunny and...

What started out as a plan to visit Whitetail Mountain turned into a visit to Bear Creek in Macungie, PA. Nobody in the group wanted to travel too far without a promise of great powder so we decided to meet halfway. Bear Creek wound up being the mountain in the middle of Maryland and New Jersey. We rented a farmhouse on and crossed our fingers that the mountain would give us a good ride. This time of year...

This weekend snowboarding trip to PA ranged from people who have never strapped into a board to people who have been snowboarding for 20 years. Clearly, the groups skill level was very diverse but Big Boulder Ski Area was able to accommodate us all and it gave us the opportunity to help each other improve. It rained for half of the time that we were there but that didn't stop us or put a damper on the fun.

Big Boulde...

The first thing I noticed upon walking into The Plank Pizza Co. Beer Parlor was the rustic decor. High ceilings, pendant light bulbs draping from the ceiling, wood everywhere and industrial accents. The vibe was super friendly and relaxed. One thing I hate about going out to drink is how packed and loud it is, PPCBP had their tables filled but you could talk to the person across from you without screaming which left me relieve...

If you are going to Magic Kingdom, be sure to stop at Marsh Landing Adventures because that is where the real magic is. People come to Orlando to see all the Disney parks but leave out one the most outstanding features of Florida, the Everglades. Marsh Landing Adventures offers tours from 1 hour all the way up to 4 hours. My mom and I took the 120 minute tour which I strongly recommend opting for, it makes all the difference....

Get out of your everyday dinner routine and spice up your night at Mango's Tropical Cafe. They have a "dinner & show" every night! Each show features live performances including Samba, Cuban Conga and a Michael Jackson Tribute, along with a bunch more. Their singers and dancers put their heart and soul into their routines to make these performances unforgettable. I haven't experienced any restaurant quite like Mango's and...

Sunday Spa Day! I have been thinking and I want to try to go to a spa once a month to just melt away some stress. Today, I checked out King Spa & Fitness in Palisades Park, NJ with my friend Deanna. King Spa is a Korean Spa that is open 24/7 (there is a cleaning period in which they stop allowing guests in but do not kick you out and that is between 3am and 6am). Admission is usually $45 but if you go to Groupon, you get over...

Lights On The Bay is a Christmas Spirit-lifting light show in Annapolis, Maryland that goes on from November 18, 2017 until January 1st, 2018 at Sandy Point State Park (located off Route 50, at exit 32, near the Bay Bridge). It is open daily from 5pm-10pm and the tickets are $15.00 (an extra $3.00 for the 3-D glasses which I highly recommend). This event is benefitting the SPCA of Anne Arundel County. You see a beautiful, 2 mi...
